Coming Soon: Survivor Panama Preview

This weekend (monday night at the latest) I plan to have my Survivor Panama Exile Island preview posted where I'll give my thoughts on each Survivor.

In general I like the format of Survivor Panama. In case you haven't heard, to start off the Survivors will be in four groups: old men, young men, old women, young women. Also there will be an exile island where the loser of a challenge will have to spend a night. There is also a hidden immunity idol on the exile island.

To summarize at this point, the Survivors look like an interesting bunch and the new format (four groups and an exile island) looks like a winner.

Survivor Panama, Exile ISland starts Thursday, February 2 - that's next week!

'Survivor' Hatch Guilty in Tax Case

Providence, R.I.
Richard Hatch, who won $1 million in the debut season of the reality show "Survivor," was found guilty Wednesday of failing to pay taxes on his winnings and taken straight to jail.

Hatch remained calm as the court clerk read the verdict. He waved goodbye to family members, then was handcuffed and taken into custody after U.S. District Judge Ernest Torres said he was a potential flight risk.

The charges carry up to 13 years in prison. Torres said he expected a sentence of between 33 months and 41 months, but it could be longer because prosecutors accuse Hatch of committing perjury during his testimony. Sentencing was scheduled for April 28.
_____

I wonder if Hatch can survive 30-some months in jail?

Template Complete

Well, this is it. I hope you like the look of my Survivor 12 Panama blog, this is what I could throw together in a few hours of playing with and slightly altering one of Blogger's standard templates. Without going into great detail, I wanted to create my own three column template but I underestimated the time I would need to learn how Blogger generates and handles everything (posts, comments, archive, previous posts, profile, etc.). If you would like to get an idea of what I had in mind visit my home page and imagine it with this green textured background. I intend to to have a three column template for the next season of Survivor.

Testing New Template Today

I'm playing around and testing my own custom template today so you may see some strange things template-wise with this blog today (and maybe tomorrow).

Survivor 12 Exile Island Coming Soon!

In case you missed it, the contestants for Survivor Exile Island have been announced and the official CBS web site is up and running. Survivor Panama Exile Island starts Thursday February 2, 2006 on CBS (official web site).

For this blog I'm working on a custom template (there aren't really any Blogger templates left that I haven't used yet and that I like). I hope to have it up and going by this Sunday or Monday night (Jan. 22 or 23).
